This journal is primarily for slash - especially Riptide slash. This means m/m, homosexual relationships. If you do not wish to read about this, or are not over the age of consent in your country, please go no further. Otherwise, welcome to my story-book.
And come on over to pier56, our shiny Riptide squee-community. Come and find out all about the pretties, join the love in the land where we don't have to make the slash up because it is right there in the script. And on the screen. I'm not kidding.
I also post on other things as the mood takes me, especially about books I'm reading. If any of my interests also interest you, please feel free to friend me. I will almost certainly friend you back.
Meet The Dog. He's awesome. So incredibly awesome that back in the 80's, he got his own movie. (Called, unsurprisingly, A Dog's Tale).
This song is from the movie, and a number one kiwi hit :) Video features scenes from the movie, as Dog's owner, farmer Wal, tries to woo his girlfriend Cheeky Hobson, and Dog tries just as hard to break them up :)
ETA: oddmonster, nothing bad happens to the Dog :) Not even the revelation of his real name!
(I know I haven't played before, but hey: None of you chaps know kiwi music, right? So here! Have one! next week, if I remember, there'll be another :D)

Jane reached the point where she knew What it meant before he opened his mouth He couldn't say them same Or he'd have guessed she was moving south With one of his friends
Ten thousand feet above the clouds halfway down Dominion Road
(Dominion Road is possibly the longest street in Auckland. It runs through maybe six suburbs and is a mass of strip malls, asian and indian groceries, and cultural mishmashes of every genre.)
This was on the radio tonight. I haven't heard it for years, and it made me all nostalgic (even though it's damn near as old as I am, so it's not like it's the music of my youth lol). It's a little bit Cody Allen, I think, perhaps. Also, my ex-boss was besetting me some tonight (yay, working for people who suck at 11.10pm at night) so you know, giving it all up for anything at all sounds like a bloody marvelous idea right now!
Oh, thank you! I'm good, at least as good as anybody can be in the U.S. right now with the pandemic... but my family and I are all staying safe and healthy and isolating, and I've been working from…

I know this was a month ago that you posted this, but I'm still reading any Riptide I find at AO3, so more is always welcome.
