This journal is primarily for slash - especially Riptide slash. This means m/m, homosexual relationships. If you do not wish to read about this, or are not over the age of consent in your country, please go no further. Otherwise, welcome to my story-book.
And come on over to pier56, our shiny Riptide squee-community. Come and find out all about the pretties, join the love in the land where we don't have to make the slash up because it is right there in the script. And on the screen. I'm not kidding.
I also post on other things as the mood takes me, especially about books I'm reading. If any of my interests also interest you, please feel free to friend me. I will almost certainly friend you back.
So, here in NZ, there is a chain of butcher-shops called The Mad Butcher, offering discount meat. They adevertise extensively on radio and in other media. The owner of the chain fronts a lot of the advertising himself, calling himself The Mad Butcher.
Last night, in the car, I heard their latest jingle, and all of a sudden, noticed the words.
Go me. I just got done with the latest instalment of the indoctrination introduction of my best RL friend (a Blake's 7 fangirl) to Riptide :) We just watched #1 with a Bullet and then Double Your Pleasure. In return, she's attempting to beset me with Blake's 7. Just watched Deliverance, which is possibly my favorite non-Tarrant ep. Not that I like tarrant, particularly, you understand. I however am a black-hearted slasher (as most of you know to your cost *vbg*) and I cannot help myself: I ship Avon/Tarrant. A lot.
Anyway!
Yesterday, I had some other friends over and was introduced to literal videos. ZOMG so funny.
check out this meatloaf* one under the cut, but there's heaps on youtube. Very funny!
you accidentally attach the latest fic-in-progress instead of a file labelled Intercessions from Cathedral to an email intended for a) your mother and b) the church.
I've just been testing out Google's new browser (Google Chrome) and I found it's got a feature called "Incognito", so I turned it on to find out what it does.
What it does is not collect cookies or history of what you're up to while using it. But, when you start it up, it's got a number of warnings, about the behaviour of other sites etc.
What I love the most? The last two warnings:
Going incognito doesn't affect the behavior of other people, servers, or software. Be wary of:
Surveillance by secret agents
People standing behind you
This is gonna make me laugh all day :)
Love your work, Google! *bounce*
(In related news, so far, Google Chrome seems a perfectly acceptable browser :))
Oh, thank you! I'm good, at least as good as anybody can be in the U.S. right now with the pandemic... but my family and I are all staying safe and healthy and isolating, and I've been working from…

I *am* writing, I'm just *slow* right now! More coming xxx
I know this was a month ago that you posted this, but I'm still reading any Riptide I find at AO3, so more is always welcome.
