Every so often, I like to list anonymous conversations between a husband and wife. :)
Wife: Do you know I love you?
Husband: Yes, you tell me ALL of the time.

Desktop Wallpaper
What's on your desktop wallpaper? Just curious.
On our computer it's usually a goofy picture of one of us. I would post it but it's too embarrassing.

If I were Gardy...
- I would show consistency in the line-up. He still doesn't know who to play every day. The players need consistency to know they aren't playing for a spot in tomorrow's roster and get in the groove! I would play these players EVERY DAY, in this batting order:
Span (CF)
Harris (SS)
Morneau (1B)
Kubel (DH)
Cuddyer (RF)
Crede (3B)
Young (LF)
Redmond (C)
Casilla (2B)

- Hope that Mauer gets healthy soon...very soon.
- I've never been a fan of Guerrier or Crain. Give someone else a chance but who?

10,000 Steps-A-Day
Every year at work there is a health incentive to walk 10,000 steps-a-day. So we've both been wearing a pedometer. It's amazing to see inactive we are at work. So far Dave has averaged about 2,000 steps at work. For me, it's about 4,000 steps.
I started to take a walk during lunch so my average jumped to roughly 8,000 steps. I recommend wearing a pedometer to see how many steps you take in a day. It's motivated me to work out more!

Worship Song of the Week: Part II (I Heart Worship Songs)
This week's song is "Jesus Messiah" by Chris Tomlin. This song seems to fit in well for Good Friday & Easter weekend. We heart this song because it gets back to the basics of what Jesus did. As the lyrics state, Jesus "humbled himself and carried the cross" (Good Friday) and "the whole earth trembled and the veil was torn" (Risen on Easter Sunday). Also, the songs lists all truths about our savior - Jesus Messiah, Blessed Redeemer, The Rescue for Sinners, Lord of all, Light of the World.
Have a blessed weekend,
Dave and Missy
"Jesus Messiah" by Chris Tomlin
He became sin
Who knew no sin
That we might become His righteousness
He humbled himself and carried the cross
Love so amazing
Love so amazing
Jesus Messiah
Name above all names
Blessed Redeemer
Emmanuel
The rescue for sinners
The ransom from Heaven
Jesus Messiah
Lord of all
His body the bread
His blood the wine
Broken and poured out all for love
The whole earth trembled
And the veil was torn
Love so amazing
Love so amazing
Jesus Messiah
Name above all names
Blessed Redeemer
Emmanuel
The rescue for sinners
The ransom from Heaven
Jesus Messiah
Lord of all
All our hope is in You
All our hope is in You
All the glory to You, God
The light of the world
Jesus Messiah
Name above all names
Blessed Redeemer
Emmanuel
The rescue for sinners
The ransom from Heaven
Jesus Messiah
Lord of all

Notes from My 8th Grade Yearbook
I've been going through my old stuff and reading through old yearbooks. The entries from elementary school and early middle school are quite boring, they are either only autographs or "Have a great summer!". Here are some of some funny entries from my 8th grade yearbook.
I apologize in advance for some of the language (apparently "kick ass" was a popular phrase in 1996)!

Obiwan -
This year was great. Band was awesome this year. It sucked when we had to share a chair at the concert. We really have to go to New York. Remember your Dad said he would take us. We also have to start the DPS soon. Our band is gonna kick ass. Lindsey's ass. I hope band next year will be awesome. Yes, we rock (band geeks). Missy, you are the queen...The queen of all bitches. I can't wait until summer it is going to be so much fun. We still have to take the bus downtown & go shopping & go to Mall of America & you can show me "OLD NAVY". It was so fun going to Babes in Arms. We were all dressed up walking through the stores. Then when we asked for the trumpet's autograph. Then remember the strike outside & we were trying to get on t.v.
Missy I just want to thank you for always being there for me. When the rain starts to fall. You were there for me when my love life is still D.O.A. You were there for me & I'll be there for you too.
Remember Katie at work. That was so great. It was so much fun. Especially the straighten the boxes thing. I'll never forget that. I'll always remember your Jeff stories too.
See Ya this summer,
Amy

Frenchie,
Whats with this hommie dissing my guy (if I said girl, you know what that would make you) What do they got up front? KENICKE Rocks!!! Just kidding. I wish that I could a bigger page to write to you! Got my sudan. Are we going to have a kick ass summer or what! We have to start up the DPS. Too bad Megan doesn't want to be a part of it. Oh well. Mrs. Piggy is so special. Just kidding. I know, I'm a dork. One thing that I know we should do is have a camp out sleepover with my tent. Sorry I spilled pop on your yearbook on Amy's page. Oh well. Amy won't mind. I didn't get any locker fines. Thats surprising because of all of the fruit by the foots that we were going to get Amy with. Oh well. Seniors just egged us. You just screamed like a freaking baby boomer! Sorry. Will you forgive me? I am really sorry. J/K. I'll see you next year in MV. Bye!
Love Always,
Rizzo [Lindsey]

My observations:
1) 8th graders seem so much more mature now.
2) J/K was popular.
3) My friends and I were obsessed with "Grease".
4) My friends and I were obsessed with band.
5) We liked to talk about school classes.
6) I STILL have great friends.

You Know You're a Workaholic When...
Friday night we stopped at Dave's work to check on a FEA (Finite Element Analysis) model he had running. We were "in the neighborhood". It was fun to see his work because I've never been inside.
In all honesty, I respect Dave for his dedication to work. Going to work on a Friday night is abnormal though!
