Sometimes I like to think our family is artsy. Elijah does art projects at daycare so I think to myself,
he should be able to do this at home. We tried this a couple of weeks ago and it was a complete disaster. The end result was no finished project, Elijah eating finger paint and a crabby Elijah. Oh well, we'll have to try again.
Lessons Learned (artsy people probably do not list stuff, especially numerically):
1. Prepare for the art lesson. Set out supplies before Elijah approaches working station. I spontaneously decided to do this project and was holding Elijah while getting stuff out and he wanted to start before I was ready.
2. Don't start an art project right before bedtime.
3. The art instructor should change clothes.
4. Elijah likes the taste of finger paint.
5. Never force an artist to paint on your time. It will happen when the artist is ready.
Okay, Elijah turns 14 months (wow!) tomorrow so here are some more pictures from 13 months. These pictures range from 1 - 2 weeks ago
FYI - in case you were wondering or judging, we do take Elijah out of the house but rarely take pictures, for some reason.
