Happy Birthday to Our Precious Leah

Two years old already and what a charmer!

Yes, that's a back hoe cake. Go figure.

Do Ya Suppose Wynton Began Like This?

You're in for a vanguard performance rendered by the future jazz great Nathan "Wynton" Wolf.

Prepare your ears for a feast.

Another Little Winter Outing

This time it was a "girl trip" to Crown Point with Rebecca, Emma, Claire, and Hannah to celebrate Jacob's 7th birthday!

On a Little Winter Outing

We took an afternoon for a drive to the Amish area northwest of us. Paid a visit to the Colonville Country (Amish) store and then wandered the countryside. The barn isn't Amish, but it was picturesque.

Finally Winter in Auburn

We finally woke up to some snow this morning--not a whole lot, but it has begun to look and feel like winter

Toying with Extravagance

We went out shopping for our kitchen upgrades. The guy at the granite / stone yard was great ... but when you look at the price .... well.

Nevertheless, can't hurt to dream a bit.

Lean on Me

"Lean on me, when you're not strong, and I'll be your friend. I'll help you carry on.... You just call on me, brother, when you need a hand."

We know you can rightly say this is thoroughly undisciplined, but we have a dog who loves to be in contact. Sue here is watching one of our old VHS tapes being translated to digital. Lacy is happy to keep company.

Whee

Christine is testing out her new I-Pod that has a camera feature. She just sent me these as she tries to learn how the thing works. Jacob's on the Whee (or We or Wee or whatever it's called).
