Working on the Yard

The yard is starting to look green. Gary has been hard at work. Izzy even helped him put out new grass seed earlier this year.

Gary burned some old limbs and leaves on the garden plot. We aren't having a garden this year. But next year we will have a garden here.

Gary always gets me hanging baskets for the porch as part of my Mother's Day gift. We go to an Amish farm not just up the road and get the baskets. My porch is one of my favorite places to be. I enjoy rocking on the porch, reading a good book. If you look closely, you can see Gary sitting in the glider out in the yard.

Sarah's visit

Sarah and Izzy love to play together.

Playtime :-)

Where is your baby cousin Izzy? There she is.

Rainy Sunday

Rainy Evening
In our family, we like to sit on the front porch and watch the rain. Izzy was visiting and it started raining so out to the porch went Izzy and her Papa.

She was sitting on PaPa's lap and drawing the rain.

Can you tell they are posing for me?

Izzy decided she wanted to enjoy the rain and off she went.

One wet but very happy little girl.

Memorial Day Weekend

Liz, Sarah, and Izzy in the Kissel's new living room. Sarah and Tony came down for a quick visit on Memorial Day weekend. They came down Saturday night and left Monday night. We always enjoy their visits. This was the first time the Ainas got to see the new Kissel home.

Izzy loves her Aunt Sarah. She was so excited when she saw Sarah and Tony drive up in her driveway. She clapped and waved.

Izzy loves exploring in the yard. We got new comfy covers for the hammocks. It is much more comfortable now. Izzy loves swinging in the hammock. Gary has been hard at work on the lawn and landscaping already. It is looking great.
