BYU Men's Volleyball Game

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day we started with our usual breakfast of pink heart pancakes. Then it was just off to school.
Addie and Demzi were my only kids who needed to make their own box this year. They both knew exactly what they wanted to do. Addie still loves pandas so she came up with a cute way to make her box look like a panda.
Demzi is obsessed with strawberries these days so she cut out red paper and little green stems to make strawberry polka dots.
I love Liam's acrostic poem from school;
L-Legos
O-Owls
V-Valentine's Day
E-Extra ice cream

Valentine's Party

Alicia had a fun Valentine's party at her house.
We started with pizza and then played a bunch of minute to win it style games.

She also had a photo booth and props the kids had tons of fun using to take a bunch of pictures. It was a lot of fun. It's so fun to live close together so we can get together often.

I had to include the one picture of just my family. It was the first picture I took and Tad was doing the worst eye roll ever! I told him we had to try again without him looking like he wants to murder someone.
Then he was trying unsuccessfully to not look happy.

The Cone of Shame

When we got Max fixed he had to wear the cone of shame for a week. He was inbetween sizes so the size down was a little too small so the one we had was a little too big. It was funny to watch him try and figure it out.He was crazy with this thing on. He would just run full tilt at the back of your legs, at the wall, anything.
Finally he day before we were able to take it off officially he managed to break it.
Apparently he must have made wearing it look like a lot of fun because Harvey needed to try it out too.

Potty Training

As we got closer to Harvey's 2.5 year birthday I watched for any signs of potty training readiness. Almost 2.5 years to the day he decided he wanted to pee in the potty so we decided to run with it.

He has taken to it really quickly but pooping is the forever issue. There were days we were desperate to get him to sit on the toilet so I bribed with anything I could. He has watched a lot of movies sitting there.
I don't know that I would say I'm 100% confident in him being out of my sight but he is doing really well. After 10+ years of having a kid in diapers we have officially joined the diaper free club.

Clear Creek

Addie was able to go to the Clear Creek overnight camp with the fifth grade. Kris was able to take off work so he could go too.
At  Clear Creek me and dad were in the red group our name was the snow owls. I slept in the pine tree inn and dad slept in another cabin. After we got off the bus we set up our beds in the cabins. Then we went to the main building to eat lunch, after lunch we made our group cheer and flag. After, we went back to the other cabins to get ready for the next activity. The next activity was body sledding  and snowshoeing in the snow. Then we went to the next activity that was cutting open owl pellets I found a skull in mine. Then we went back to the cabins to wait for dinner and make the skits. Our group's skit was the invisible bench. After dinner we showed everyone the skits we made . Then the parents had to play these games.  After the games the groups did their cheer again and took pictures. Then, Mr. Rencher brought his star dome so we could look for constellations in it and go outside and look. For the rest of the night we played murder in the dark and watched a movie called Max while eating popcorn. In the middle of the movie I went back to my cabin to get ready for bed. The next day we ate breakfast then played a few  more games then we cleaned up the cabins and ate lunch. Then we left on the bus while listening to Mrs. Adamson's CDs
