Random Christmas-time fun

These are some random cute pictures I have left over from the holidays.

Noellie with Aunt Bonnie's dog Jaxx. Between a toddler and a dog, it was busy around that house!
My attempt to get a picture of Noelle and I in her Christmas dress. She was so tired and it did not happen!
When Noelle wants a snack while I'm in the kitchen, I always make her sit down on the rug in front of the sink to eat it. So of course, when I gave her a little pancake on Sunday night, she thought she should sit right down on GiGi and Gramps rug to eat it. She was thrilled that Gramps joined her- especially when he fed her lots of syrupy waffles!
We had fun playing with my friend Sarah's daughter Harper on Monday. The girls had fun climbing all over Harper's new Dora tent!

When Noelle goes back to school on Monday, they will be trying to put the kids on nap mats instead of cribs. So we decided to practice at my parent's house since they have a trundle bed we could pen her into. She climbed right in a naptime!
And again at bedtime! Unfortunately at 2 am I heard screaming and went in to find she had fallen in the tiny 6 inch space between the head of the bed and the wall! I've always said she was a crazy sleeper! Once I rescued her, she spend the rest of the night in her pack and play!

Merry Christmas- round 2

Our Christmas festivities continued when we moved on to my parent's house for Christmas Day. Noelle slept horribly on Christmas Eve night, but woke up in a great mood! Of course, starting your day with super sweet monkey bread helps everything! And a cute reindeer hat.
She looks confused in this picture! We did her presents from Santa on Christmas morning and I think she was still a little dazed in this picture.
She was happy to see Santa brought her a xylophone
 and a pull along puppy!
Once everyone arrived, the present opening really started. Noelle enjoyed her purse and jewelry from Aunt Bonnie.
And a fun puppy that rolls around and laughs from Gramps.
 Looking pretty in her pearls!
She was quick to help mommy out with her new purses!
Is she all girl or what!!
She looked pretty as a princess in her new winter coat from Aunt Bonnie- just in time for some super cold weather!
She loved her new Toy Story lego set and works so hard at putting all the pieces together.
She was such a sweet girl during the holidays and would go from person to person giving hugs and kisses. Sweet baby girl!
And the night ended by reading some of her new books with Gramps.
We had a great Christmas!

Merry Christmas- round 1

Whew- we are finally all home safe and sound. We had a wonderful Christmas holiday and I feel like we saw EVERYONE! We started the holiday at the Nash household on the 23rd and 24th. Noelle decided to experiment with a new look and wanted ALL her bows on her Santa hat!
Silly girl loves to play Grammie's piano.
There were several Santa hats out and Noelle helped herself to trying them all on!
Dancing to the Christmas music with daddy.
And on Christmas Eve morning the fun really started. Noelle was a great helper and loved passing out all the presents.
She thought all the gift bags were purses!
 Sweet baby!
Travis got a beautiful new coat!
And once Noelle got this present- her happiness was complete! It's a kitty that walks, meow, and purrs and she was in LOVE.
She did not put kitty down the rest of the day- she even slept with her!
All tuckered out from all her Christmas fun!
She loved checking out her new "E-No" (Elmo) slippers. Notice kitty is still close by!
And she was so funny with this little shopping cart. She would roll it out of the room and say "bye" to everyone. Sorry for the blurry- someone put her grubby little fingers on the lens!
And one final picture! A good time was had by all!

Noelle's First Haircut!

Well, tonight we finally had to break down and give Noelle's hair a little trim. She still doesn't have a lot in the front, but she was definitely getting a little mullet in the back! So GiGi set her up in front of Barney, we gave her a paci, and trimmed her up!

She sat fairly still and got a good half inch trim.

I promise my next post will have a million Christmas pictures!

Noelle and the Neigh Neigh

Photobucket
Noelle got a special treat this weekend  when Gramps took her to see some real, live horses and cows. She LOVES horses (or "neigh neighs" to her) and this was her first time to see and touch a real one. From what I understand, she mooed and neigh-neigh'd those poor animals to death!

By the last picture, she looks like a little natural! Aunt Bonnie- she wants you to take her riding soon!!

Christmas Presents

Tonight we decided to open our family Christmas presents together. It is the last weekend night that we will be together before Christmas and we wanted to have some time for our little family to do our gift exchange. We lit a fire in the fireplace for the 1st time since Noelle has become mobile. She was mesmerized, but was a very good girl and didn't even try to touch it!
After a month os being told not to touch the presents, she got the hang of it in a hurry! I love her little tongue out in concentration!
So excited about her 1st present- a drum!
Then she proceeded to climb in the drum box and sit there to open her presents!!
 My cute little Santa-baby!
She loved her Little People Noah's Ark- again with the tongue out in concentration!
And a little more concentration tongue as she lined up all her animals on the drum!
 Hooray!
She was a lot of fun this year with the presents! She would carry them to us with the bow around her arm like a purse! So cute!
