Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. We got to see all our families (except Aunt Bonnie who was working and then got sick) and ate lots of yummy food!
Noelle has developed a love for small spaces and likes to climb in them all the time. She spent the majority of tonight sitting in a laundry basket!
Gotta love this hat! Some family friends gave it to my dad over 10 years ago and he still wears it every Christmas!
Noelle spent a lot of time at Thanksgiving doing her favorite thing-swinging. Or "swee" as she calls it. She was so sad because it was so "col" she couldn't go "ow-sigh" (cold and outside). Especially since Gramps dressed up her swing set with garland and lights!
She played the piano at both sets of grandparents.
It's fun to ride on Gramps shoulders since he's so tall! Noelle mixed her holidays well- we celebrated Thanksgiving while she played with Christmas decorations and a Halloween pumpkin!
Noelle even helped with dinner. She would have put rolls in muffin tins for an hour I think.
She got lots of good cuddles from everyone!
She is so sweet to her animals these days. She loves to hug and kiss them and give them "drinks" and bites of her food. It's especially cute when she makes little yummy noises to go with them drinking.
She still loves her grandparent's dogs!
Once the weather got nice she spent lots of time chasing daddy around the yard and picking the perfect leaf.
This makes me laugh- here's a picture of Noelle with GiGi's Santa this year:
And this is last year, she has definitely grown!! She asked Santa for hair last year, but I think she might should ask him again this year. The girl needs some pig-tails!
Now we are home sweet home. I like this picture because Noelle finally started wearing her mask while she does her treatments. She looks so cute with her little dino mask from Aunt Bonnie.
Her other new fascination is dancing and clapping around with her shoes on her hands. I'm not sure where she came up with that, but it entertains her (and us)!
And note to self- if Noelle is quiet while I'm packing- NOTHING good is happening!
She emptied the whole kleenex box and "blew" her nose on each and every tissue!
Goofy girl- she's certainly not boring!

A day in the life

Noelle has been quite the busy girl lately. She has been feeling pretty good and been a pretty happy little toddler lately. She's doing better at school, too. They say her favorite activities are music and eating :)

She has been VERY into diapers. She likes to take them all out of the box and try to put them on herself and her animals.
Who says candles should go in candle holders? Noelle things it's a milk holder!

Today she had gymnastics. The first couple of weeks she wasn't too into it. Today she loved it! She paid attention and participated in the structured first 15 minutes (for the most part) and then loved free time!

 Such concentration!
A little off to the side becuase I was holding her hand while she walked on the balance beam.
She is so silly in the car and today I had my camera to capture her silly attire!

At Ross she had a great time picking out purses and prancing up and down the aisles showing them off!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Noelle gets ready for the holidays!

I've been actually trying to get ahead of the game in terms of Christmas stuff so that we can enjoy December without too much busyness. Noelle has been enjoying all the extra holiday things that have made their way to the living room!

We decided to just do a small tree this year because a toddler and a 6 foot tree filled with shiny objects just did not sound like a good plan!
She also "helped" me wrap all the presents. She was entertained for 2 hours!! Which in toddler language is practically FOREVER!

She got a little frustrated when she would get in the box, but then couldn't put the lid on herself. Silly baby.
But she knew just where the bows should go!
Noelle is VERY into organizing these days. She likes to organize all my little nursing figurines and carries them around very delicately.
She also proceeded to carry around a pair of my heels all day this week. I have no idea what that was about.
And finally, a non-crazy picture of her sleeping! How sweet is that?

Noellie-belly

Well, we've not been up to too much lately. Luckily all our medical issues have calmed down. Noelle is going through a very clingy/mommy stage right now, so that's been....interesting. She's also easily frustrated these days when she can't verbalize what she wants. She is learning LOTS of new words, so I'm sure she'll be talking up a storm soon.

Right now her favorite thing is to play "ow-sigh." She loves it out there!
She likes to ride things around on her little giraffe friend.
She still loves the neighbor's dog and will walk up and give him hugs, kisses, and pat-pats.
Wanting her animals to be friends. It cracks me up how far her belly is sticking out in this picture. She had just eaten strawberries, and entire avocado, 2 baked chicken nuggets, and a big glass of milk for dinner. Her tummy was HUGE!

She's still very into Lizzie and her other big stuffed animals, but we have found some smaller beanie baby animals to take on our outings. And little does she know, but her loveys (or "nigh-nighs") are about to start shrinking, too.
This baby girl LOVES her yogurt. She will sit in the chair for 20 minutes getting every drop out. She is very independent with her eating lately and doesn't want help. So it's quite a messy undertaking, but she's getting better everyday.
She loves to "rocky" in her rocking chair with her animals.
Nothing too exciting to report this week obviously! She did get a bit of a runny nose last week and for the first time since the spring we did not end up on albuterol breathing treatments because of it! Hooray! It seems that her daily steroid nebs are helping her airways for sure.

Pretty baby

I had to add this picture from Sunday because I thought Noelle looked so cute in her Sunday duds! She's not picking her nose- just pointing to it!
And she looked even better later with her double bracelets and shades!
