Good morning handsome! My cute little serious boy.

Last week Noelle made a "train" going to outer space. Because where else would a train take you? She let Collin sit in front of her to load up.

She and Lambie were our conductors. This kids imagination is pretty crazy!

We had a yummy lunch with Aunt Bonnie at the Snooty Pig. Yum!

Right before Collin had a little spit up on Aunt Bonnie. She was thrilled :)

Noelle probably spends an hour at least working on art during the day

yesterday she showed me that she knows how to write her first and last name! I was very proud of her!

The Dallas Zoo

Today we tried out the Dallas Zoo for the first time. It was pretty great! Noelle loved the carousel and rode it twice!
Little man was happy to go along for the ride. We barely heard a peep from him the whole time we were there.

No one but me wanted to look at the camera apparently!

They have a fun monorail "ride" where you go along to different animal habitats and see the animals.

Noelle and mommy checking out the giraffes. The morning wasn't super hot, but it was SO humid!

They had a children's zoo area with a creek to splash in, a petting zoo, a barn, and pony rides. And luckily for us, a first aid station since Noelle fell and busted her knee open. Nothing like good, bloody drama at the zoo!

She and daddy rode some horses

The 60 second pony ride. I was glad we joined the zoo which means pony rides were included because if I'd paid extra for that short ride I don't think I'd have been too happy!

For some reason blogger keeps putting my pictures in very random orders!

It was a good day and lots of fun until Noelle's "I'm hot, I'm hungry, my leg hurts" meltdown. It was an impressive one! We can't wait to go again, but will probably wait till the fall when it's not so muggy hot.

Flashback Thursday

So instead of Flashback Friday, we're going to have Flashback Thursday :)

Here's Noelle one of the first times she wore this pillowcase dress (July 2011). She looks like such a BABY.
And here's Noelle yesterday, almost 2 years later. I bet GiGi didn't realize we'd get 3 summers out of that dress when she made it! Doesn't she look so BIG?

The last few days Noelle has been big into playing with her kitchen and cash register. She has entertained herself quite nicely with it.

And here's Mr. Collin on his first time in our baby swing. I know he looks grumpy, but he actually loved it and threw a fit when it was time to get out! We had to prop him in quite a bit, but I think he'll be big enough for it in no time. Especially the way he's growing.

I think maybe the sun hat was bothering him! He can't have sunscreen yet, so we just protect him as much as we can and have been avoiding sun.

I'm way too tired ( and maybe too lazy now that the kids are finally asleep!) to go upload pics from the real camera, but here are a few from my phone.

This morning Noelle decided that Gracie ( her doll) needed to be breastfed, followed by burping and a diaper change. As long as she only feeds Gracie at home we should be good!

My little pig tailed cutie! She was SOOOO good today. We are going to have to take her to an allergist in two weeks because her constant drainage, sniffy nose, and horrible cough are out if control. I'm not sure what other meds they can add, but I guess we will see.

And I left this little cutie for the first night on Monday to go back to work. He did well with all his bottles except his bedtime one. He got up twice in the night to eat, but I don't think that's too bad for his first time ever with nighttime bottles.

We are trying hard to work on tummy time, but his reflux makes it hard. Today was an awful reflux day, he spit up/threw up at least a dozen times. Ugh. And he was a TOOT about his naps today, did not want to do it! BUT- he slept from 8 pm till 7:30 am with no feeds! I made Travis run in there to be sure he was still breathing when I woke up at 7! I'm sure he won't make a habit of this, but it was nice. He gets to go see a pediatric gastroenterologist next week. Geez, with as many meds and appointments as these kids have I need a home health nurse! Oh wait, that's me :)

Mommy's cute little gator. He was watching his big sister dancing around. He has really started watching her a lot. He doesn't really smile at her, but he does have an expression of interest instead of nervousness now. And she is a character to watch! Today she played "getting married" all day complete with bouquet, veil, and wedding music/dancing.

Happy Sunday

Here's my cuties before church this morning. Noelle was rubbing Collin's "fuzzy, fuzzy hair" as she likes to call it.
no way to get all 3 of us looking at the camera!

Then Noelle wanted to take over as photographer and she too these cute pics of Collin and I.

And of course, then she had to take pictures of her "friends"

And one of mommy and daddy. She's quite our little photographer. And in typical Noelle fashion, she's downstairs singing princess songs at the top of her lungs!

Get ready for more pictures than you ever probably wanted to see of Collin in a bouncy chair :) He loves that thing and I like to get his sweet happy faces on camera.

These big baby blue eyes will get you!

He just smiles and smiles at the animals on his chair.

"Hi mommy!"

This boy gets bigger every single day, just look at those cheeks and thighs!

And again, I'm a sucker for a happy boy in a bouncy chair!

Today I took Miss Noelle to the park/splash pad. She made it about 30 seconds before deciding it was too cold to splash.

So we changed clothes and moved to the park.

She told me she was Spiderwoman Princess today.

This sleepy boy hung out with me. He can't have sunscreen till he's 6 months old so it could be a long summer looking for shade.

I decided to put him in the little swing for a minute since they had one with a high back to support him. I just did a couple of gentle swings and he LOVED it. I know his face looks funny, but it's because it's so squinched up smiling!

Where's Collin?

Then Spiderwoman climbed into her web.

And a big web it is.

This girl still loves to swing just as much as she always has!

This afternoon I put this boy in his handsome tie outfit and got a few pictures.

Trying so hard to do tummy time, he looks so worried!

Sometimes a sweet boy just needs to rest.

and then try again!

Big sister needed to jump in the picture!

And this picture was so sweet of her holding his hand!

My boy is getting so big! And a big milestone for this week is that he hasn't napped in the swing in 3 days, only the bed (or carseat if we are out). They've all been short naps (1 hour or less), but I'm hoping as he gets used to it they will get longer.
