First week of summer

We've kept ourselves busy our first week of summer. Collin has had terrible allergies with this insane weather so he developed a great system for holding his "boogie wipe." 

Handsome fellow was getting quite shaggy, so we popped up to Sweet and Sassy to get him cleaned up.

With all these storms we've had lots of nights with Noelle in our bed. Mittens likes to stick close with her. It's really fun to wake up at 2:45 am and get in the closet with two small kids because tornado sirens are going off. It's even more fun to try to get them back to sleep after that.

Noelle gets upset with Mittens when she won't play with her. She drew this sad little picture the other day that showed her crying and says "play with me please" and chased her around with it.

This summer Noelle is working her way through some kindergarten workbooks so she doesn't forget everything from her TK program. So far she thinks it's fun.

Today we had two whole hours of sun so off we went to the park and splash pad.

This boy was so happy. He just begs and begs everyday to go to the park with the saddest little face. 

Last day of preschool

Today was the last day of school. And Noelle's final day of preschool forever. I am so sad!! We have had the most wonderful time at this preschool and both kids learned so much this year. Just knowing this is the last day I would walk both kids in together to preschool made me a teary mess this morning.

Sunday

I don't have anything to write about this week, but here are a few pictures for the grandparents enjoyment :)

Open house

Today Noelle had her transitional kindergarten open house. She has been looking forward to it for weeks!

They made these cute boards with all kinds of fun pictures on them.

They also made and painting clay art. 

And here was a fun book that they wrote all about school days.

The theme was "My Future Is Bright With Jesus" and they wore sunglasses whole they performed a few songs!

She was so proud of her things.

We topped off the day with a trip to Krispy Kreme. So fun! Now she's exhausted!
