Happy Halloween!

Tonight we had a lovely Elsa and a cute little skeleton. We found out Collin was afraid of costumes, so he got a pair of glow in the dark jammies.





He is very hard to get to hold still, so we played a game of peek a boo to get pictures.

We went trick or treating with the neighbors kids and they had a wonderful time.

The kids have also enjoyed passing out candy at the house tonight.


Collin enjoyed looking over the loot.


He was so funny, every time someone held out a bowl of candy he would push everything out of the way and get the Snickers (he's definitely mine!). Then he came home and starting grabbing handfuls of Snickers bars.

Family Pictures 2014

Family pictures this year was a mess! The kids were having no part of it and did not want to cooperate. We managed to get a couple of good ones individually, but not much luck with the family shots this year. Oh well. The photographer tried really hard and did a good job, but the little subjects were not in the mood!

I got the kids school pictures today and I love them! For some reason they thought Collin's hair should be combed forward, but he still looks pretty cute :)

Our week

Noelle has been a beautician giving makeovers this wee!






Clearly her brother needed one (he had to get a major haircut yesterday!)





We are so proud of Noelle at swimming. She started at the beginners level last summer and has progressed to swimmers level. Next semester she will be an advanced swimmer! She loves it.





This little helper unloaded all the dirty silverware to the clean drawer for me yesterday!




Today we went to the pumpkin patch with friends and this is the best picture I got :)

let it go

Tonight at Mission Friends the kids got microphones and now Noelle thinks she's a "Rock Star." She's spent the evening putting on quite the performance which included quite the "rock star" outfit. Not entirely sure why she thinks blue plaid shorts (that I think we have definitely outgrown!) scream rock star, but okay! So enjoy the performance.

Fall

 

Fall has gotten off to a busy start! We had some preschool excitement last week when we pulled in and found FIVE fire trucks at school. There was a strange burning smell and school had to be cancelled for the day :(

This week was school picture day, so we dressed these two up and we'll see how that went when we get the previews!

He was SILLY that morning.

Noelle also had her school field trip to the pumpkin patch that day (she's in the middle front) and the kids had a wonderful time.

We have been going to the park regularly now that the weather is so much nicer. This one is TOO brave. He climbs everywhere. He probably gets a busted lip twice a week from his climbing escapades and we're pretty sure he's chipped his front teeth. So we'll be trying to see a pedi dentist next week.

Today we got up and ready to go take our fall family pictures.

Noelle was skipping around like a butterfly.

Our photographer sent me a couple of previews and I was thrilled (especially since the children were NOT enthusiastic about the session).

After the picture attempts we headed to a pumpkin patch and butterfly festival. The kids were much happier then!

Noelle took over the camera for awhile!

Fall is off to a good start!
