Fancy pants

Here's yet another set of pictures from my phone because my real camera is acting up :( Of course it does that right before school starts next week!

Today was Noelle's day of meeting the teachers. She has all new teachers from last year and is now on the "big kid hall." Her teachers did a really neat job of decorating the class and they have quite the list of goals for the kids to learn this year. Noelle loved the classroom, but is a little nervous about the start of school next week. Luckily 3 of the kids from her class last year that she was pretty good friends with are in there. And they don't take naps this year?!? We are going to try her out at 3 days a week instead of 2 for the month of September. The class will be really full on Tues/Thurs, but the Weds class will be pretty small. We'll see how she does. If it's too much, we'll pull her back to 2 days.

And here's what happens when you are sorting through several seasons of clothes to see what fits:


She decided to put on a heart print shirt, polka dot skirt, and penguin print leggings. Oh my. And she usually insists on tucking shirts in to the point of resembling Steve Urkel.


Yesterday I showed her a dress I got for Christmas for her. As you can tell, she was WAY excited about that!! Not sure why she thought the Junior Ranger hat completed the outfit, but whatever.


And she immediately thought the dress needed to spin!

Fun in the sun

Last night Travis put the sprinkler on and let this little one have a blast.

She has a great time running through the sprinkler. She kept telling us the water would make flowers grow out of her hair???

My bathing beauty!

She kept pulling this move in the water and letting it hit her bakeside. Not sure what that was all about!

Her swimsuit was HUGE because it's one I bought on sale for next year, but she didn't care.

It was especially fun to swing in the water :)

And in other exciting news......Baby Nash #2 is expected to make its arrival on March 21, 2013! There is a VERY excited big sister who will be anxiously awaiting/driving her momma crazy with questions for the next several months. I've been quite tired and nauseous for the last month, but luckily it seems to be fading a bit. I've had 2 appointments/sonograms in the past month and everything looks great.

Noelle of course thinks it will be a girl, but we are trying to prepare her for the possibility of a boy. She told me "it's impossible for us to have a boy baby!" but she did tell me this week that we would take whatever God gives us! She makes about 15 statements a day that start with "when the baby comes out of your tummy....." and has asked about a billion questions, but she is quite excited.

Party time

Today Noelle was invited to a party at a fun bounce place. She had a BLAST! From the minute we got there she was off and running.


I had a hard time keeping up with her she was so fast!


She climbed up the 20 foot slides like it was nothing.














She had a good time seeing some of her school friends from last year.


It was a lot of fun and hopefully ensures a good nap!

Happy Wednesday

Here's a few pictures from the last week. We haven't done anything too exciting, but we've been up to a few things.

Last week we went to visit Gramps after his surgery. Noelle harassed poor Rowdy within an inch of his life. She held him, carried him, and babies him like crazy.


She also spent lots of time getting "fancy."


That poor dog is probably still recovering from her visit!


This is our new favorite thing to do- shaving cream bathtub paint. Cheap, easy, and a guaranteed hour of good clean fun each night.


Today Aunt Bonnie brought Noelle a set of hot pink scrubs.


She looks so cute!

Bass Pro Shop

On Saturday we drove up to the Bass Pro Shop for some free entertainment! Noelle loved all the animals (dead and alive!).


She "drove" some boats.


Her newest thing to do is putting her fingers in her ears when something scares her. It's so funny, but she does it all the time when she is nervous or scared.


And of course my child found the only stuffed animals in the whole place!





And she and daddy checked out the evil snake.


She loved the "sleeping" squirrels.





And she was super happy when daddy got her a fudge sample!





All that fun wore her out!

Emily's Birthday!

Today Noelle was SUPER excited to go to Emily's birthday at a splash park. She had the absolute best time while we were there. Swim lessons had definitely paid off in the sense that she didn't freak out when the water splashed her face.

She was in constant motion and running like crazy. Needless to say, she slept great this afternoon, and I did, too :)

Since I've been such a slacker about taking pictures lately, I decided to just post them all so enjoy! Sadly, I got none with the birthday girl, but Noelle was very happy to see her.

We were happy to have such a fun outing on such a HOT day. We have a splash pad near our house, but haven't checked it out yet. I am definitely putting it on my list of things to do!
