90 Years and Counting

Last weekend we had the honor of celebrating Andrew's wonderful Grandma and her 90th birthday! Family traveled to town and we spent the weekend honoring Hank. She's a hilarious and loving woman and we're lucky to know her. Love you, Grandma!

Best. Race. Ever.

The Color Run lived up to all its hype! Pristine white shirts at the start? Check. Run 3.2 miles without being timed? Check. Color cloud party on the lawn after the race? Check. What a great way to enjoy a beautiful day in Louisville :)

Color Blast

Drew and I are excited to be participating in the super fun Color Run this morning in downtown Louisville. Along with 15,000 of our closest friends, we will be running a 5K like no other. This event is more about fun than speed, and as I'm just now getting back into working out post~baby, it's my kinda race. Here's how it works: everyone starts out with a white t~shirt and gets plastered with various color dust along the route. Each kilometer is associated with a designated color {yellow, green, blue, purple, pink} so by the end of the race, everyone is a hot mess of tie dyed goodness! So fun!

Mom's Birthday Bash

While on vacation, we celebrated my mom's 60th birthday {I hope I look half as good when I'm that age} with wonderful friends and family, delicious food, hilarious serenades, funny stories, and ultimately lots of love and toasts to the most fabulous woman I know. My mom is blessed with lots of good friends and I know she will cherish every memory made during her special celebration. Happy b~day, mom! We love you!

Greenbrier and all its Glory

Hello friends. We are back from a wonderful week long family vacation at the beautiful Greenbrier and slowly trying to get back into a routine here at home. I won't bore you with every detail of the trip, so let's just say Eli's first vacation was a success~ he did great on the road trip, loved being with his cousins, swam {was lowered into the pool for all of five seconds} for the first time, watched his parents compete on the tennis court on more than one occasion, napped like a champion, and was the cutest baby at the resort. It was great being with my siblings and their kiddos for an entire week. So thankful for my parents and our time together.

Summer Reads

I'm about two months late to the party, but wanted to share my summer reading list in case you find yourself looking for a good read. Can't promise my schedule permits me to get through these books before the end of summer, but I hope to check them off my list soon...
