Hot Town, Summer in the City

Somehow June is quickly coming to an end. It's been a wonderful summer thus far, filled with friends, family, and memories to last a lifetime. We still have a good amount of activities planned in the coming months. Hoping time will slow down a little bit so I can relish all the goodness!

Rainbow Hued and Happy

Each year we look forward to participating in one of our favorite family events, the Color Run. This unique 5K caters to the kid in us by dousing us in color as it promotes happiness and healthiness. We love walking through downtown Louisville, getting splashed with paint throughout the course and ending with a dance party {and color cloud} on the Waterfront.

Tee Time

Last week on one of the most gorgeous days of the year, Drew and I took Eli golfing for the first time. E's been dreaming of this day for awhile now, playing his first nine. He practices profusely in the backyard and has been to the putting green, but had never hit off a tee or played an entire hole. Drew is a great teacher and as a result, E did great. I loved picking up my clubs again {it had been too long} and it was fun hitting the links with our little man. It was a day filled with learning about golf etiquette and more importantly, mulligans.
