Game Day

Nothing like a little friendly competition for the twins' sixth birthday party. Celebrating with friends from school and church, the group of boys participated in various relays and games at an indoor turf field at the YMCA. It was fun watching Remy and Jase with their buddies. They are the perfect pair and we are so thankful for their little lives. Can’t imagine our family without these active, fun and loving boys.

Renovation Happenings

I feel like a kid on Christmas morning… hardwood floors are stained and finished, first round of custom cabinetry and countertops are in, tile continues to be laid daily, groundwork for the outdoor covered patio and fireplace has begun and appliances have been delivered. As you can see, we are well underway in regards to major renovation progress. Everything is still very exciting to us and we look forward to checking the house for updates each day.  

 

 

 

Ain’t it Grand?

We couldn’t travel to the state of Arizona without visiting its main attraction ~ the Grand Canyon. If you’ve yet to see the canyon in person, let me be the one to tell ya, it’s awfully majestic. The boys marveled at its size, colors and overall beauty. We hiked the rim trail, drove to Desert View and rode the bus to Hermits Rest. The kid’s favorite part of our two day adventure was becoming Junior Rangers as they completed their workbooks and learned about the canyon. God sure is a wonderful creator and our time out west only solidified that truth. Thankful for a great vacation with my crew and hope to get back there soon.
