Holly, Jolly Christmas

We met Sara and the girls downtown last week for Christmas at the Galt House. The KaLightoscope display was pretty magnificent! The kids also loved the Candy Cane Forest, Christmas Village, and the Peppermint Express. We got to see Santa again and Eli was brave enough to give him a high five and wish him a Merry Christmas!

Throwback Thursday

Bundled up and playing with my family in the snow! I'm sure there were lots of snow angels, snowmen, and snowball fights involved that winter {thankful some things never change}.

The Reason for the Season

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel

Luke 2:12 And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger

Mega Lights in the Mega Cavern

A few nights ago we loaded up the car and ventured to Lights Under Louisville for a one~of~a~kind Christmas light show. The underground holiday spectacular had lots of themed light displays and Eli was transfixed by it all. Husband and I liked the lights, but were more taken back by the massive cave itself.
