Home for the Holidays

There's something so magical about Christmas morning... Spending time as a family listening to the Christmas story, unwrapping presents under the tree and snuggling your loved ones by the fire. So many great moments together before noon. This year was especially fun as the boys enjoyed setting up the nativity and singing along during carols. It was such a wonderful day!

From my Family to Yours...

Merry Christmas! Hope you enjoy being with loved ones this weekend as we celebrate the birth of our Savior. The light of a newborn King born in a humble stable reminds me that within our homes there is a chance to grow strong hearts. Within our own homes is our first chance to practice compassion, understanding, and love for each other. May you find peace that comes from knowing the true King.

Holiday Happenings

Christmas break is here and with it comes multiple activities for young and old alike. We have been busy trying to experience everything this holiday season has to offer: gingerbread house decorating with friends and family, wreath workshop, Lights Under Louisville in jammies with hot chocolate, baking cookies with Mamy and watching Christmas movies as a family. This year has truly been so much fun with the boys.

Christmas is All Around

Over the weekend we had the opportunity to have breakfast with Santa at Hurstbourne Country Club. After a delicious brunch with my parents and Tannis, we met up with Ryan, Sara and their girls to visit Saint Nick. My crew already had the pleasure of meeting Father Christmas so we had an idea of how it would go. As a result, Andrew and I decided to hold Jase and Remy so they wouldn't have to sit on his lap, but they both still freaked out. Luckily, candy canes were involved which helped them calm down. It was fun being with family and definitely another holiday memory we won't forget.
