Visiting the Gallrein pumpkin patch with Eli's school group is something I look forward to each year. It's always such a fun day on the farm with friends and teachers who love my boy. We lucked out with a cool and cloudy afternoon that never turned in to rain. One on one time with E is hard to come by these days so I cherished our time together. Such a fun day!

It's {Supposedly} Fall, Y'all
The calendar is nearing the end of September, yet the weather still feels like we're stuck in a never~ending heatwave. It's crazy how warm it has been for the last five months. I mean, we throughly enjoyed summer, but now that it's officially fall, we're ready for cooler temps and everything that comes with it. It's hard getting on board for things like a Pumpkin Spiced Latte when the thermostat says 85 degrees outside. Nevertheless, our crew has continued to enjoy the perks of higher temps with extra visits from the ice cream truck, pool days and lots of sunshine.

Scrambled for Charity
I'm what they call a "social golfer" so when there's a scramble involved, I'm your girl. Playing a full round of eighteen is not really my style unless it involves using the best shot on each hole. Last week we reunited our foursome to benefit a good cause, GO Ministries. We are blessed to be able to partner with this ministry in affecting underprivileged people in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Thankful for their mission of bringing Christ to the island of Hispaniola.

SBTS Fall Festival
Fall is my favorite season for many reasons: the weather cools, colors ignite, and festivals are a plenty. The Seminary puts on a free carnival on their campus each year and our crew had a blast. Eli is big enough to enjoy most of the rides and the twins loved the bounce houses. Such a fun night!

Soccer Saturdays
Since E's first organizational sport {t~ball} was a success, he was eager to give soccer a try. I played competitive soccer my entire life so knew we wanted to expose him to the sport early. We are lucky to be on a team with friends and family again, which makes weekends at the field even more fun. The twins love running around the sideline, kicking their own balls and cheering on big brother. So far E's loved chasing the ball and has even scored a goal. I'm just excited I can officially call myself a soccer mom :)

Charm City
Weekends away are too good. Drew and I had the best Labor Day weekend in Baltimore celebrating one of his oldest friends getting hitched. Time to explore new cities as well as scheduled events with new friends. We had the opportunity to take in an Orioles game, enjoy a cruise with pirates, explore the Inner Harbor and dance the night away at a fancy wedding. What a treat to spend a long weekend away, sans kiddos. It was such a fun time with my beau!
