Year in Review

Somehow it's already the end of the calendar year. We sure made the most of another whacky year by spending lots of time with friends and family. Thankful for such a wonderful church and school. The blessing of community was on full display. Our boys are at such fun ages and are growing so fast. Andrew and I make it a priority to be intentional with them and pray they become responsible, kind, generous kids. So many blessings this year and already looking forward to the next...

Here are the highlights:
  • Starting and completing a major home renovation
  • Watching the kids develop as swimmers, golfers and ball players
  • Traveling to Beaver Creek to ski with friends
  • Celebrating Grandaddy and Poppi's 70th birthdays
  • Spring Break trip to our new favorite city, Sedona
  • Surviving a child's first major injury
  • Exploring Bear Lake Reserve with friends
  • Multiple trips to the zoo, Main Event, pool and park
  • Norton family vacation to Edisto Beach
  • Visiting Colorado in the summer with the entire Bachman crew
  • Experiencing the joys of Disney World with our little family over Fall Break
  • Cheering on Andrew as he coaches the boys in baseball and basketball
  • Traveling to the Dominican Republic to celebrate GO Ministries
  • Welcoming new friends and family: Saylor, Eden, Hollis, Eliah, Grey
Cheers to 2022

It's so much Fun when Christmas Comes to Town

Our boys are at such fun ages and they all still believe in the magic of Christmas. As a result, we sure did enjoy the weeks leading up to the holidays. It has been a wonderful month filled with lots of fun, a handful of new memories and plenty of holiday cheer. Holding tight to the Christmas Spirit!

Sugar Rush

Each December, I look forward to hosting a holiday cookie exchange with my girlfriends. It's a great excuse to get together and always a fun night. This year I made Chewy Maple Brown Sugar cookies, which were delicious! The variety of sweet treats is most impressive and I enjoy snacking on the goodies for days after the party. Thankful for so many wonderful friendships in my life.

Why, to the North Pole, of course

One of our family's favorite holiday traditions is visiting French Lick and taking a ride on the Polar Express. We look forward to the train and being immersed into one of the best Christmas stories. This year the boys danced with elves, drank all their hot cocoa and marveled at the bell Santa delivered. So fun that Eli, Jase, Remy and Dean all possess the Christmas Spirit! We believe!

Basketball Season is Underway

Our boys don't know how good they have it with Andrew coaching their basketball teams. They really are the luckiest! Not only is Drew an amazing teacher, but he's a wonderful encourager. The teams he is leading will most definitely benefit from his coaching style as well as his ability to make each kid feel like an all~star. Not only that, but his focus is on improving individual talent, regardless of outcome of games. I'm so proud of Eli, Remy and Jase for working hard on the court each week. Some of their best buddies are on our teams, and it’s bound to be a great season.
