Play Ball

Very special spectators came to see Lana's T-Ball game this morning.  Thank you for coming Maw and Paw Paw!

Lydia's 4 Year Check Up

Today was Lydia's 4 year check up.  All went well!

Blood pressure taken

Hearing and vision screened

Heart and spine checked

4 vaccinations

Height: 40 1/2 inches (50th-75th%)

Weight: 34.4 lbs. (50th%)

 

During her hearing screening in her right ear, there was one tone that she did not hear in the sequence.  It was not the lowest tone and since it was only one, our doctor was not concerned.

 

Lydia did amazingly well during her vaccinations.  She is normally a 'delayed crier' and this time was no different.  She didn't cry upon the initial injection, but finally started as the last shot was given.  Her tears didn't last long and by the time we left the exam room for a pencil, sticker and treasure box treat, she was tear-free. 

We are thankful for our healthy and thriving little four year old!

Family Math Morning

Tim, Lydia and I joined Lana at school this morning for Family Math Morning.  It was an opportunity for us to see and participate in math instruction, centers and games.  Any chance we get to be with our girl at school, we fully embrace!  It was a fun morning!

Train Ride

All aboard!  Today Lydia had a train ride at school.  She loved riding in the caboose.  It was a beautiful, clear day for this fun preschool activity!

Lydia, the Little Kicker

Lydia started a Little Kickers soccer class tonight.  Her group rotated through 3 stations practicing kicking and ball stopping skills.  She was all smiles, even in her oversized shirt they gave all the 'lil soccer stars!

We are looking forward to this being a fun six-week class for her!

Lydia's Birthday Party

I had my birthday party today!  I helped Mommy make the cupcakes for my Strawberry Shortcake party!

I'm all set in my strawberry outfit!

Lana had a strawberry outfit too!

 

Maw and Paw Paw came over to the house first and then we all went to my party at the gymnastics center!

While I was waiting for all my friends to get there, I jumped into the foam pit!

We did a lot of games as well as free playing time.  Everything kept us moving.  I wasn't still for even one second!

I did about 5 somersaults in a row on this long trampoline!

I love being the birthday girl!

We got our hands clean and then we sat down at the table for cupcakes.

I was so thirsty from all that playing.  Everyone is about to sing Happy Birthday to me!

I sat with each of my guests as I opened the present they gave me.  I thanked them and gave them each a hug.

I loved my party so much and was so glad everyone could come celebrate, jump, run, tumble, balance and climb with me!

It's pretty great being four!  I am a blessed and lucky little girl!

Nanny's Visit

Nanny visited us this afternoon.  She celebrated Lydia's recent birthday by gifting her with new dolls for her Lalaloopsy collection!  They loved their visit with their Nanny today!  Thank you for coming!
