The Red Hots

We are excited for the start of softball season for Lana.  Her team this year is the Red Hots.  First practice went well with the meeting of coaches and teammates.  Here's to a great season!

 

Thing 2

When Lana dressed in this costume for the school musical, I didn't think we'd have Lydia wear it a few weeks later.  But that's just what she did for Dr. Seuss week at school.  Another Thing 2! 

Art Show

 Two pint sized artists showcased some of their finest masterpieces tonight.

 The theme was "hero."  Lana wanted to draw Jesus.

I enjoyed walking through the art gallery to see the girls art, my idea of the greatest art in the world!

Lana's 8 Year Check Up

Lana went for her 8 year check up today.  She is moving right along on her growth curve:

Height: 50 inches (50th%)

Weight: 53 pounds (25th-50th%)

 Blood pressure: 90/64

Eyesight: 20/20

All is well for another year!  Always giving thanks to God for the good health of our first born baby girl!

Babies!

To our surprise, we found four baby bunnies burrowed in our compost pile yesterday!  The girls have named them Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail and Peter.  

Daddy Daughter Date

Tonight, one wonderful Daddy took his two wonderful princess daughters on a dinner date and walk by the lake.  This was an intentional outing to share quality time together and strengthen the bond that only a daddy and daughter can share together through God's greatest blessing of love. 

Happy Valentine's Day!

 It was a love fest all day long!  Cards and goodies mailed to us from family, sweet treats, Mommy and Daddy breakfast date, class parties, candlelight dinner at home for four!   

Happy Birthday Jack

Happy 15th Birthday to our Jacky-boy!  Some nights when Lydia says her prayers, she thanks God for Daddy, Mommy, Lana and "my little dog Jack."

He is a precious part of our family and we love him so much!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

 Happy Birthday to Daddy!  We all got to be home together all day to celebrate with him!  It was a great day!  We love our birthday boy so much!

Snowy Day

We went to school and work this morning with a few flurries falling and by the time we got home, we had a dusting of snow to play in!

 

Turns out school is cancelled for tomorrow so we will enjoy staying warm and cozy at home for a long weekend!

Lana's Baptism

On December 1, 2013 Lana asked Jesus to live in her heart and she gave Him control of her life.  Today, February 5, 2014 Lana Elizabeth was baptized.

We are so overjoyed at this life changing moment in her life.  It was an emotional night with a lot of happy tears and hugs.  More pictures to come of family and friends who came to see Lana for this special night.  They supported her with their love.  She was so grateful to everyone who came. 

She is filled with the Holy Spirit.  Tim and I are very blessed parents tonight.
