UIL

Each of the girls competed in UIL this year.  Lydia participated in the Ready Writing competition.  Lana participated in the Oral Reading competition.  They have worked hard for several months with their coaches practicing outside of the school day.

Today was the District Meet at the high school!

Even though neither of the girls placed (won an award), they had a wonderful experience and did their best.  We are proud of them and all of the participants!

Maisy Mutt

Tim gave Maisy a very special Christmas gift of analyzing her DNA to determine what breeds make her sweet self.

The results came back and as you can see, she is our Jack Russell/Chihuahua/Eskimo mix!!!

So interesting and unique.  We just know we love our mixed rescue mutt!

The Wisdom Panel computer algorithm performed over 18 million calculations using 11 different models (from a single breed to complex combinations of breeds) to predict the most likely combination of pure and mixed-breed dogs in the last three ancestral generations that best fit the DNA marker pattern observed in Maisy. Here you will find the results of these calculations. To view more about the breed(s) found in your dog, click on the individual breed name(s) next to the pie chart. You can also continue onto the next page to see this same information in ancestry tree format.
