Girls Day Out

Maw and I took the girls bowling this morning.  

We also went to lunch, did a little food market shopping, and then stopped off at a park on the way home.

We had a fun-filled day!

Arboretum

We had an adventure at the Arboretum this afternoon.  We saw the 12 Days of Christmas exhibit as well as winter flowers and plants.

Lana's 9th Birthday

Happy Birthday Lana Elizabeth!  
Rise and shine -- today you are nine!

She picked Saltgrass for her lunch out.  She likes the indoor fireplace they have.

Daddy wanted to hold his girl.  He said she'll NEVER get too big or too old for him to do that! 

Her request: Andes mint chocolate brownies

Her requested dinner: Panda Express with a fortune for her year ahead.

We shook things up a bit and ate picnic style while watching Muppets Most Wanted.

When her day was done and it was time for bed, she said, "Mommy, I really had a great birthday.  Thank you for everything." 

  Happy Birthday to our beautiful daughter.  These nine years have been filled with such joy and love.  You are a treasure!
