Happy 14th Birthday to Lana Elizabeth!

Wakey wakey -- it's YOUR day!

Thai lunch out -- yummy!

...they even had macaron ice cream sandwiches!

Dinner choice -  yummy too!

Lana helped me make a peppermint cheesecake as her dessert choice.  It was a hit!

14 years ago our baby girl was teeny-tiny...

...today she is a beautiful, healthy, happy young lady!

May the Lord bless our daughter in the coming year!

Girls Day

Sometimes there's just one of the those days when time is on your side and everything seems just right.  Today was one of those days.  The girls and I went on a pre-birthday outing for Lana.  This year she asked for only one thing for her birthday -- her first Kendra Scott jewelry item.  She chose a necklace and had fun at the store all the while.

Next, we enjoyed lunch and walking around downtown McKinney.  So cute and charming!

 After we got home, Lana wanted to show me one more time how excited she was about her gift!  

It was a great day with my girls!

Christmas Eve

We enjoyed finishing up our baking on Christmas Eve...

...opened their PJs...

...looked at Christmas lights with hot cocoa and cookies...

...put out the carrots and scattered oats for the reindeer...

...and finally put out Santa's cookies and milk.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds...
