Glenn Frey Saved My Life

I know I'm late. I've just been listening to music tonight, which I don't do enough of anymore.
I was working in a restaurant washing dishes at 15, and my first paycheck went to fill up my car, buy a carton of smokes and buy  Eagles Greatest Hits. I'd sit in my dark bedroom with a candle lit and listen to music all the time, they were on heavy rotation. Later I got Eagles Live for Christmas, because it was first on my list, and that's all I did at night. I was in the midst of some angsty teenagery shit, but music pretty much kept me as sane as I was gonna get, and Eagles did it most of the time.
