■ #345. "mandative subjunctive" を取り得る語のリスト [subjunctive][mandative_subjunctive]

　"mandative subjunctive" の話題については本ブログでも[2010-03-19-1], [2010-03-18-1], [2009-08-17-1]などで何度か扱った．今後もこの問題に迫るかもしれないので，今回は，現代英語において後続する that 節の動詞に「仮定法現在」を要求しうる語をできる限り多くリストしたい．基本的には浦田先生の論文 (126--27) にある，Quirk et al. の諸例から整理された単語リストがベースになっているが，他の文献で触れられているものも追加した．いずれも仮定法を必ず要求する語ではなく，要求しうる語のリストとして理解されたい．

(1) verbs: advise, agree, allow, arrange, ask, beg, command, concede, decide, decree, demand, desire, determine, enjoin, entreat, insist, instruct, intend, move, ordain, order, pledge, pray, prefer, pronounce, propose, recommend, request, require, resolve, rule, stipulate, stress, suggest, urge, vote

(2) adjectives: advisable, appropriate, anxious, compulsory, crucial, desirable, eager, essential, expedient, fitting, imperative, important, impossible, improper, insistent, keen, necessary, obligatory, preferable, proper, urgent, vital, willing

(3) nouns: advice, agreement, arrangement, command, decision, decree, demand, desire, determination, entreaty, insistence, instruction, intention, motion, order, pledge, preference, proposal, recommendation, regulation, request, requirement, resolution, resolve, rule, ruling, stipulation, suggestion, urging, vote, wish

　(3) にはここに挙げているもののほかにも，一般に(1)(2)の語に対応する名詞形を加えてもよいかもしれない．
