■ #399. 現代英語に起こっている言語変化 [pde][language_change]

　現代英語にも言語変化は確実に起こっている．[2010-05-18-1]の記事でみたように，Inner Circle で話されている標準英語を考えるかぎりでは，中英語期などに比べると現代英語期に起こっている変化の規模は確かに小さいといえるだろう．しかし，英語という言語を構成するどの部門 ( components ) ( see [2010-05-09-1] ) でも何らかの変化が進行中である．今回は，Svartvik and Leech, Chapter 11 辺りを中心に据えながら，現代英語の英米標準変種に起こっている言語変化とその種となる variation の項目を部門別にリストアップしてみる．もちろん網羅的ではないが，現代英語の言語変化の概観にはなるだろうと思われる．本ブログ内の記事で関連事項を取りあげたことのあるものについては，リンクを張った．
